EHS Insight 18.13 Release Notes

We're pleased to present EHS Insight 18.13. 

New Features

Incident Event now supports a reduced-access submit-only role (Originator) in addition to the existing full-access submit role (Shared Submit) 

• Originate Submit creates a security role, called Originator, where any user in that role can submit new forms and only see the forms they submitted. The Shared Submit pattern is a general submit role allowing users to submit new forms and also see the forms for their assigned business entity. Users must have at least one of these settings enabled, but can have both. Note: Existing customers will default to have "Shared Submit" enabled to avoid breaking their current pattern.

Parameterized User Role Template support added to Onboarding form

• Previously, User Roles templates were available via the UI, API, and Excel Import/Export. Now, templates are also available on the Onboarding form. As a new Onboarding form is being created, there is an option to choose a Role Assignment (Template or Advanced Assignment).

Chemical Inventory Log with Material Details report

• Following the release of the Safety Data Sheet Dashboard, the new Chemical Inventory Log helps users to identify where chemical materials are located across the business. Users are now able to track material details by SDS Number, Manufacturer, CAS Numbers, Storage Locations, Quantity, and more.  

Delays caused by generating CAPAs will show a progress indicator while saving forms

• Users who experience a delay while generating CAPAs will see a progress indicator pop-up showing the number of forms remaining to be generated. The CAPA progress indicator appears for any form that generates CAPAs, including Audit forms.
